Given the recent government announcement we have activated our Business Continuity Plan. This means that some of our staff will be working from home for the foreseeable future. We will have a number of staff continuing to work from our office.

Irrespective of location all staff will be fully operational and will remain in contact either by e-mail or phone. For the intervening period can we ask that you use the relevant direct dial number to reach your normal contacts by phone.

The government has stipulated that all non-essential travel should be avoided where possible. We have taken the decision to cease visits that are non-renewal related, e.g. mid term review meetings. We are also putting on hold any other ad-hoc visits such as insurer surveys.

We are of the opinion that meetings around renewal, i.e. discussing renewal strategy, reviewing adequacy of cover and ultimately reporting renewal terms fall into the category of essential.
Your normal contacts will discuss these meetings in advance and we will of course respect any requests to keep away from your premises.

In terms of our own premises we have taken extensive measures to enhance hygiene standards with additional hand sanitiser dispensers being placed throughout the building. We have also made
arrangements with our external cleaning company to carry out a more thorough cleaning regime daily.

At this time we feel it is also important to outline the insurance industry view in respect of Coronavirus. The general position is that policy coverage does not extend to cover this situation. We will of course be happy to offer guidance on specific policies when requested. We can assure you of our utmost attention through this very challenging time. If you have any questions, please speak to your regular contacts at any time.
